Hi everyone- new to the site and have been enjoying exploring and learning more and more about frenchies. We just brought Lua home 2 weeks ago and are in love. We also have an english bulldog at home. I do have a question:
We are feeding her TOTW salmon for puppies and we started sprinkling a little Stella and Chewys meal mixers in her food to offer her a little raw supplement. The problem is that she will not go near her food anymore unless the Stella and chewys are in there. Do I need to try a different food now? Just keep adding the S&C?

Hello! I can relate because we did something similar with Ginger and Bambi's food, to entice Bambi to eat. We give them Acana, however, sometimes Bambi would skip one or two meals. I'd be worried sick when that would happen. We started getting premium canned food (I think it's Kona?) and wetting their kibble with a little of that to make it better. They love it. I'm sure they would be very surprised if we gave them just dry again.

Can you switch to something that goes a little farther? The Kona canned pate we use mixes so well. You only need less than a tablespoon for it to cover everything.

We have only been taking one little nugget from the stella and chewys to supplement and sprinkling all over the food. Its not that big of a deal, but Im just wondering if we are going to have to do this from NOW ON. lol.

Just keep adding the S&C... when you switch her adult food you MIGHT be able to stop the S&C... BTW, I call the S&C doggie crack... my two LOVE them

It definitely doesn't hurt anything to keep adding it. Some will also go through a phase where they are very picky eaters and you have to add something to get them to eat. Henri did this and we had to add Feta cheese to his food so he would eat. Then on day he decided he would eat without it. Now he eats his food with no toppings.
