Darcy was surrendered when her elderly owner had a stroke. He was no longer able to care for her. She came to use with many skin issues, an inverted tail, infected ears and allergies. She has been spayed and is getting her skin in order. She does have an inverted tail so she requires wiping in the tail pocket to make sure bacteria does not build up. It is not painful to her and is easy to maintain. While in foster care Darcy had a disk rupture in her back. She had back surgery at the neurologist and has been cleared for adoption. She has not residual effects from the rupture, but her forever family should not let her run up stairs or jump off furniture. All of Darcy's skin issues have cleared up nicely and she is a healthy girl. She likes other dogs, but has not been around cats. She is a toy hoarder and cannot every have enough toys. She loves to sit in the toy box like a treasure chest. She is a darling girl with a great personality waiting for the perfect forever home. No young children because of her back injury or large dogs.
