Does your Frenchie like the water?

Was just curious how many of your Frenchies like the water or like to swim? Jake and Stella want nothing to do with it. I have life jackets for them so maybe one day I'll see how they swim in our pool on a nice warm day.

The Frenchie that I am getting next year is a little mermaid. She loves the water. She is even known to play in her water dish, digging and sticking her face in there.

Those pictures are sooo cute! I just love Jake's expression.

Hudson thinks he is a water dog. He loves to surprise us by jumping into the shower and lives for his kiddy pool. Unfortunately he pays for it with recurring ear infections but he doesn't seem to mind...

not sure if ours do, we have never seen if they like a kiddy pool, our English never did, so we got rid of it. But they don't really like the wet grass.

Isabelle loves baths! She splashes & plays in the water & the faucet! She also digs in her water bowl once in a while & makes a mess!

Titan doesn't seem too opposed to water, he's constantly having to have his paws washed and wiped, he doesn't really do much, a few whines here and there but he's so young and doesn't understand it yet. I hope he at least enjoys baths like Isabelle [emoji39]

Bisou is our little fish! She swims at the beach, plays with the hose, takes showers with my fiance and I... anything water, she's all about it. We even got her a little rash guard and life vest for the beach that we're so excited to use this year!

Buster loves his pool in the summer, but he also likes to wade in lakes, rivers and creeks when we go on walks. He does not like the bathtub or shower at all.

Wally loves the water but he doesn't like to get his ears wet. He loves baths and running around in a lake. He can swim but I haven't tried to see how long he can go before he will sink.

Rootbeer dislikes watwr. He hates baths, he escapes any chance he gets! Haha. We have a kiddie pool for him and he won't go in it. My parents have a pool and we've taken him in there...he heads straight for the stairs and hops out. The ONLY time he seems to like the water is at the beach. He just goes in far enough to run in the water and occasionally will go in a little farther and swim but usually its just to follow us and he wont fo further than a few feet out.

Sounds like Jake. He will get his feet wet at the beach on the shore but no interest in going much further.
