Hi, first of all, I'm from Malaysia (A small country in Asia)
and good brands like Fromm, Ziwipeak, Annamaet are not available in my country.

I've two frenchies: 2yr old boy and 8 months old girl
They're currently eating a brand call Carnilove from Czech, Europe.
My boy was ok with it but after 1 month trying this food he started to have some vomit events and super loose, big, smelly BM.
My girl have loose stool, smelly, and poop a lot too

I'm feeding them according to dog food calculator depending on their weight and calories needed
Bean Bean 13kg - 75g per meal (Neutered and in his ideal weight)
Mumu 7kg - 72g per meal (Slightly skinny and she don't like her food)

I am still in search of a better food for them because this Carnilove have not much info in the net, and it's not made in USA.
I'm not sure how's the QC and how true is the labels.
My list would be:
1) Acana - Very expensive
2) Wellness Core - Very expensive, highest price among my list
3) Earthborn Holistic Grain Free -
I've only tried Coastal Catch (it's ok, my kids are not excited about this food) and Primitive (bad loose stools), a lot of pea protein and I'm not sure if it worth the money
4) Taste of the Wild Duck - I'm too afraid of the recalls
5) Zignature - I'd like to try this dog food but the sodium levels are very high!
6) Nutrience - Not much reviews and never tried it
7) Merrick
8) Nutram
9) Canine Caviar
10) Go!

So my question are:
- Do you think it's the dog food problem or they're not ok with this food?
- Which dog food do you recommend out of the list?
Thanks in advance!

I am only familiar with Acana. I fed my female the pork but it made her extra gassy. She liked it though. I feed a freeze dried base mix and add my own protein (Sojos, The Honest Kitchen)

We have used Zignature before and it's not too bad. One of my English didn't do very well on it, but the Frenchies did. Merrick and Earthborn Holistic Grain Free are pretty good. too. I would definitely change food, as it seems the food they are on doesn't agree with them.

First, your two frenchies are super cute!

Second, I fed Zigniture Kangaroo. My girl did well on it! But she devours the Fromm Adult (purple bag) food, so I ended up switching but if I needed another food, I'd probably go back to Zigniture.

I fed my sick puppy Merrick, it was a good choice, but not any cheaper than the other top brands I would choose from so we ended up switching to Natures Variety Rawboost Puppy for him while he was trying to maintain weight/grow with his health issues. But I had no problems from the Merrick, and I've heard some good things about Earthborn as well.

I have not fed any of the brands listed, but if i could not feed Fromm, my first choice would be Acana, then Earthborn (meadowfeast is one i've tried)

So I've narrow down my list to Earthborn, Zignature and Acana
Acana is always top in my list but it's just so expensive here...

Price around:
Acana Rm380
Earthborn Rm330
Zignature RM250+
Huge difference.

Zignature is high in salt content which makes me worry... Maybe they're still young I shouldn't concern too much.

That is a big difference....

I'm only familiar with Acana since that is what I feed my pups. I just did a conversion and yes it is expensive, about $40 Canadian more than what I pay per bag. That's quite a bit.

Just make a home made dog food. It is healthy, more nutritious and very affordable on our pocket.

We feed Blue Buffalo, but I don't know whether it would be available to you or not. We haven't had any problems. They also get home-cooked.
