Dogs can sense an upcoming change, right?

We are in the middle of packing up to relocate and our 9 month old pup has seemed to lose his appetite a bit. Over the last couple of days he isn't gulping down his meals. He's only eaten 1/4th of his breakfast and I have to practically hand feed his dinner.

He is still happy and playful and going to the bathroom regularly.

Just wondering if he is sensing the imminent move because we are surrounded by boxes, or could he just not have as big of an appetite anymore?

Yes, they can sense these things, but they are / can have a level of OCD and when they see things being moved or removed it does impact them.
