I just found this great product. Dried wild salmon. Wondering if this can replace salmon oil? My puppy is a little itchy and I know salmon oil can be good for this. But I haven't found a great salmon oil yet. Wondering if the dried salmon works the same way and if so, how much should I give her?

I've never tried it, but let us know how it wirks for your pup.

I think it's a great idea since it retains its antioxidant and omega 3 content, contains no preservative, and also cleans the dog's teeth.
Another alternative- canned sardines in water? I was giving it to my dog but she loved it so much she stopped eating her dog food, so I had to stop. Or canned salmon, or an omega 3 capsule that you puncture and squirt on her food.
You can also try giving an antihistamine if Carrot is older than 16 weeks.

I give freeze dried wild salmon to mine. Stella will not eat cooked salmon, but she likes the crunch of the freeze dried.

My boy is a little itchy right now. He's 4 months and I just started giving him coconut oil. A spoon a day is supposed to work wonders for there skin and allergies. Im also trying to transition him to eating cooked fresh meals. Lucky guy.
