Even when you buy from a reputable breeder, I assume it is still recommended to have your new puppy checked for various potential problems by a vet immediately after adoption.

Where can I find a list of things to be checked on a 10-week old French bulldog puppy?

I don't want to miss anything.

Thanks in advance for your precious tips :)

Definitely have a check up....

It would be a good idea to have a vet that is familiar with the Frenchie breed or at least with smush faced dogs.

A good vet will know what to look for.

Our vet practice has multiple vets so there is lots of experience with them all.

Edited to add: When one vet who isn't specialized in smushed faced dogs has question, they won't hesitate to talk to the one who does. Our french had a spay, hernia repair and cherry eye surgery last week. The vet who specializes in cherry eye surgery did all of it.

I agree with the others to try and find a vet that is familiar with Frenchies or brachy dogs.

Agreed with the others. I am actually switching to a vet who specializes in Bulldogs. I am so excited. My old vet would seem stumped when it came to some of the typical frenchie type problems so it will be nice to speak with someone and have someone care for my babies that is a pro when it comes to the breed
