Understanding color can sometimes be difficult! There are the "officially recognized" colors, then the "fad colors", and everything in between!

I thought it would be cool to start a thread, identifying all of the colors they come in, no matter if it's "recognized or not".

There are so many times at my French Bulldog Meetup that I'll admire two dogs that look totally different, but their humans will both say they're the same color.

Let's post a photo of our dog(s) and share what their color is called. I'll start in the next post!

Rico is considered brindle obviously! He is registered as brindle with white markings...

Some have referred to him as:

"Tiger Brindle"

Stitch is blue brindle! When he was a puppy he's more blue but as he age his brindle came out like crazy!

I love red fawn so much! If I ever got a 2nd one I'd def get a red fawn. Red fawn comes with and without mask, right?
Correct! I forgot to add black masked. There are Fawns without masks as well

I actually don't think I've ever seen a red fawn unmasked come to think of it!

Bambi is a red fawn with black mask.

Is it true that blues are generally all blue brindle? Much like all black usually has some brindling somewhere?

It appears so in mine. He has some patching by his right side where you can see some brindling. Not sure yet if it will be more pronounced once he gets older though.

Isabelle is blue pied, with brindling, and Titan is "blue" but he's white with one blue dot on his cheek (as pictured).

Our breeder said Blue but as she gets older we are seeing some fawn hue to her. But I can't change her name. We named her Beatrice Bonnamour Blue. And Beatrice Bonnamour Blue-Fawn just doesn't quite sound right

Wally is pied, and as he gets older there is brindle showing where it used to be mostly black.
