Frenchie and Kittens

I found three little 3-4 week old kittens last week. They were dirty, dehydrated, skinny, and sick. I brought them home to save them and foster them until old enough to be neutered and adopted out. They are still being bottlefed (started out with syringe feeding) and are almost ready to eat solid food. They are healthy now!

I had no idea how my Frenchie Travis and my foster Frenchie Rocco (he's the one with the shriveled ears) would react to cats. Well, I'm please to report that I am very proud of these boys! :up::up:

Such good boys with the kitties! Good to know that Rocco can be placed in a home with a cat too. They are really cute.

SO glad you found those poor kittens!! I'll never understand hurting poor little animals.

I'm glad your boys are calm around the kittens. I would be afraid to put a kitten in front of Wally, I don't know what he would do.

Thanks. It's been fun, although tiring, to take care of the kittens. 2 of the 3 are just starting to try to lick formula mixed with kitten food from a spoon.
The boys are still being excellent with the kittens. I just have to make sure when Travis and Rocco are playing together that the kitties stay clear, as they can be rough with each other and I wouldn't want a kitty to get trampled.
I think it was easier bringing in the kittens as young as they were, with introductions to dogs. Because they were so slow and were not fearful, the dogs did not even think to chase them.
Here is a very short video of Travis sleeping with one of the kittens last night. They slept together for close to an hour.
