Not sure if correct place to post but a frined on Instagram has to rehome her Frenchie due to aggression to another family pet. He is 3 years old and needs to be in a home alone wothout other pets. He is trained and super nice looking. Lives in Round Rock Texas area. Name on Instagram is henryandpetey and he is free and has tried a few rescue groups in area

What a gorgeous boy! I hope he finds a great new home

Hi! I’m actually Henry’s owner and please know I’ve tried everything- rehoming Henry is my very last resort. He is a wonderful dog but just cannot live with my other dog. We have tried to make it work for over a year and have had trainers, a behaviorist, anxiety medications and I even built a new house that would better fit Henry. (I said I tried EVERYTHING!) Henry just wants to be a one dog show! He will ham it up for you and the cameras; he has no regular allergies (unheard of here in Austin Texas), has had surgery to open up his nostrils and trim his soft palate so his can breathe better (every little bit helps in the Texas heat)! He’s already had his teeth cleaned, up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. He’s beyond spoiled and I would love for that to continue in his new home. Henry is potty trained and has been staying in a crate when I leave the house in order to ensure the safety of my smaller dog; however, when Henry was an only dog, he was left out and there were no issues. If you’d like to know more, please reach out to me. [email protected]

So sorry to hear about Henry fighting with your other dog. I had a similar situation with my English bulldog and my French bulldog, and just gave away my English bulldog this week due to her biting my Frenchie one more time. I'm surprised you are having trouble finding a good home for Henry, he is extremely desirable for a no pet household. I would try putting him on Kijiji.

Does he play well with other dogs and just food aggressive?

There has got to be a great home out there waiting for a good boy like Henry. You have gone the extra mile for Henry. We had to rehome an English Bulldog once; it was the hardest thing to do, like giving up a child.

I'm so sorry to hear about Henry! You must be devastated! I'm sure there's a great home out there for him. I can share your story on IG.

So sorry about your situation with Henry. He is soooo handsome, I'm sure the right home will be found soon. Good luck to you!
