Hi I'm Dawn and new to this. I'm after a bit of advice on Frenchie Rage.
My sons 2 yr old male frenchie is the most loving boy but then the next minute he turns into a diff dog. Going for feet and hands. Snarling at my 2 dogs onr of which is his sister. They all get on until he switches n then he just has a look about him and you know he's about to start. Then afterwards he seems tired.
I don't know if it's frenchie rage, pain, attention seeking or something else.
Can anyone help?

My only suggestion would be to give him some CBD when you see him getting wound up.

What about putting him in a kennel when he gets that way. If he learns that when he behaves that way he gets a timeout and isn't able to participate with the family he will learn not to do it.

Hi. There isn't a kennel to put him in for timeout but tried putting him in a cage and he hates it. And he let's ya know! Lol.
So I have a living room and dining room where I shut the door so that he knows that no one is interested in bad behaviour.
We don't know what happened to him from 8 weeks old to approx 1 yr old. It could be related, I don't know.
Like I say he can be the most loving cuddly do n it's like a switch turns on n he's on one.

They never like the kennel. Even pups when I've had to kennel train them, the first couple of nights they can whine the entire time. You have to power through this. If you give in they know they can whine until they get out.

It's kind of like a child, you can't break or give in. You have to tough it out.
