Frenchies and Sand?

Do you let your Frenchies play in the sand?

One of the places I found to take her to play is rather beach-like - small dog pools with sand and river rocks - is it too dusty and bad for them, or are they fine in it?

I see lots of Frenchies playing on the beach and that question has always been in the back of my mind. They do seem to love it. But I always wondered about whether it's healthy or not (I probably worry too much but with those short noses you never know!). The one good thing is it does seem easy on the joints.

Radar loves the beach. I don't have any issues with respiratory problems concerning the sand. I do need to keep an eye out for his eyes though. Sand in the eye is no fun.

We live the near the beach and take our dogs there all the time. Stella loves to play fetch and Jake loves to chase other dogs. So far no issues.

I don't see a problem with it. We have taken our English to the beach before and they had a blast. We haven't had the opportunity to take the Frenchies yet.
