Fromm feeders - question

Do you feed per the bag recommendations for feeding amounts or do you follow another guideline?

My husband and I have been following a calorie guideline pdf that we found online but it seems like neither of our dogs is finishing their meals (3 a day). I'm beginning to wonder if the guideline we are following is too much food.

Well I can tell you how we do it.
Feeding twice a day. 7am. 1/4 cup Fromm kibble with 1 inch of banana mushed up in it along with a tbspn of pumpkin.

4 pm 1/2 + 1/3 cup kibble ( about .88 cup) with a dollop of their favorite raw, plus a tbspn of minced pees. That's the basics but there are other supliments we add on certain days like cranberry powder and pro bios powder.

All honesty, I never even looked at it..... We got Cheli at 8 months ... can't remember what I did for him at first, but since he turned 1, he has gotten 1/2 2x a day. Now, at age 5 he seems to be starting to leave some in the bowl, so I has lessened just a tad.

My dogs both eat breakfast lunch and dinner, 1/2 cup each time. My girl was a tad on the skinny side so I upped hers, and my boy could probably cut back now that he's healthy but he has a "I'm starving please feed me" ear drum bursting cry he gets at lunch time... It's engrained in his mind now, so I just stick with it.
