Soooo excited as we put a deposit on a new male Frenchie today. He's 4 weeks old and adorable. Little concerned as the puppy will be transitioned to a frozen raw diet along with the Nuvet supplement when weaned. I feed our Frenchie Fromm which he loves. Can I feed one meal raw and the other 2 meals Fromm kibble for the puppy? I don't know much about frozen raw diet. I believe the name is K9 Craving. Any info would be appreciated.

Will share photos when we bring him home in another month!!

Update: thanks everyone for your great feedback!!!

Normally when switching over, you would do it over about a week or so period. Start mixing the food. 25% of the new, and 75% of the old for a few days, then 50/50 for a few days, then 75% of the new and 25% of the old for a few days until you are 100% on the new. That said, I haven't ever used a raw food before. That is what I would do with a regular kibble. I don't see how it would be any different though. Good luck with your new baby and congratulations!!!

Awesome for the pup to be weaned on raw  If we ever decide to breed one day this is exactly what I will do :)
Raw digest differently than kibble. Kibble takes up to 12 hours, raw only 4-6. This is why you shouldnt mix them.
However you could feed a raw meal in the morning and then kibble at lunch and night.
If the dog is weaned on raw he may have a hard time digesting the kibble since his body has never encountered processed food. A friend of mine brought me a can of Elk + Quinoa dog food . It was 100% elk + quinoa and chia seeds. Maple only eats raw but I figured I can give her a few tablespoons that one night. 15 mins later she threw it back up. Tried again the next day;same thing.

Congratulations on getting your new puppy. Can't wait to see pictures!

Congrats on your pup, and I don't see why you could not feed raw in the morning and kibble the rest of the day. Just do a slow transition to the kibble though, so it is easier on the tummy.

We switched Bruce over to raw straight from his kibble, with no issues what so ever, change in poo hardness and size was almost immediate. So in our experience you can switch straight away

Congrats! So exciting getting a new baby. Can't wait to see pics. Not much help in the food dept. Jake has allergies to potatoes, pork, peanut, and corn, so just do a grain free kibble.

We switched off kibble cold turkey too with no issues.
