Hard lump on pup's back

Hey guys

Just was petting aiko and you can feel a lump on her back. Anyone know what this can possibly be? It's the size of a dime

It could be a cyst.

Can you kind of hold back her fur and see if it's red or inflamed or scabby?

It could also be a hive. Isabelle has gotten hives in the past that were pretty hard feeling and varied in size.

Yeah, sounds about right.

I'd wipe it down with a clean wash cloth with cold water to soothe it and see if it goes away by the morning.

After my dogs gotten their vaccination, they would have this hard lump on that spot usually on the back. My vet told me it was normal. Could it be that? It goes away in a couple of weeks. Probably could get your vet to have a check.

Reese had 2 areas where she was playing rough with my moms dogs I think it was from them pulling on each other with their teeth. They were dark pink dime and nickle sized areas. I kept them clean and bathed her with antiseptic/antifungal shampoo and they eventually dried up and disappeared.

Yeah I can't confirm its the exact spot but it's definitely in the same location . She got her last shot about 3 weeks ago though..

Just keep on eye on it to see if it will go away slowly. I bet thats what it is though. You could probably even feel the tip of the lump (location of the injection) with your finger too. Almost like a dry pimple

Not sure exactly what it was, it got darker in color and eventually scabbed off. It was right in the middle of her back
