New to the forum so would like to introduce myself.
My husband and I are both retired and have had dogs all our lives. James had working gundogs and I had Old English Sheepdogs and Shih Tzu both which we showed. After the children had grown we continued showing but now with Chows- yes we are a glutton for stubborn breeds! We bred the Chows and loved the breed but as the years went by the grooming was getting more difficult so after we lost our last chow we decided a short coated breed would be better .....enter the whirlwind known as Buddy our adorable Frenchie and we instantly fell in love with him.
He is raw fed, as all our dogs have been since the early 70's.
The biggest hurdle we have to yet overcome is how to get peace and harmony reigning in the house as he has five companions of the feline variety!😬🐈
