I'm excited to finally be joining a group of fellow Frenchie addicts! I am the proud mama of 2 rambunctious 6-month old Frenchies: Olivier and Eleanor.
We have a bit of a unique story as to how we became a two dog home. Olivier was our first baby and we brought him home as an 8 week old puppy in late March. He was the light of our lives, but on May 17th he was tragically stolen from our home in Houston. We were absolutely heartbroken and made it our mission to do everything possible to bring him home. For nearly 2 months straight, we were constantly posting on lost dog groups on Facebook, Craigslist, calling vets, calling groomers, calling shelters, breeders...everything. We had all but given up hope, but on July 10, we got a phone call from a vet saying our dog had been brought in! He had run away from the backyard he was being kept in (in the hot Houston summer sun :cursing:) and ran into a man's house. The man brought him in to a vet and the vet called us!

While Olivier was missing, we decided our home felt very empty without the love of a Frenchie. We didn't want to get another boy in case Olivier came home, so we adopted a beautiful 4 month-old girl named Eleanor. We had always kept it in our minds that Olivier would hopefully come home, so we were prepared to take on two puppies- which thankfully is our new reality now! We have just been busy loving on our babies and helping Olivier on his path to recovery (he was found in a very bad area and was in horrible shape- eyes and ears infected, no muscle from cheap crappy diet, sun burnt from being help outside, coat bleached white from sun)

Here are the babies! Olivier is the cream one and Eleanor the pied. Please follow our story on IG: @olivierthefrenchbulldog

Oh my gosh. I am SO glad that you got him back. Poor baby. People make me so mad!

Both of them are beautiful babies. I can't wait to see more pictures and hear about all of their shenanigans.

What a miracle to have gotten your baby back and to be in a loving wacky two Frenchie home ---- so awesome he is home

Welcome!! I'm SO glad you found Olivier!! Thieves suck! Especially when they treat a puppy so badly. :censored: Both pups are adorable and they seem to get along great!

Welcome! I am so glad you got your baby home.

Hi and welcome! Look forward to seeing more of you here and on IG!!!

How horrible! I think this is the absolute nightmare of every frenchie (or dog in general) owner. Fortunately you were reunited with your baby. Oh my I dont know what I would have done to the people who did this... When it comes to my baby, I turn into a super protective mom.

Welcome to the forum & hopefully Olivier will continue to recover :)

I believe I read your story on IG. So awful! What a miracle it is that you got him back! I'm glad he is safe and back where he belongs.

Thank goodness the kind stranger clearly knew that Oliver needed a vet! Poor guy!

Your babies are precious and I'm so glad to see a happy ending for you!

Welcome to FBN!

Welcome and my gosh!! That was some introduction...
I cannot even imagine how horrible that must have been. I cannot even think about losing my little guy let alone what I would do. That is an absolute horror what you have went through :fie:
There sure are crazy weirdos out there...

So relieved that all turned out fine and Olivier is now safely home playing with his little sis. :whew:

Welcome to the site and so happy you got your baby back. Poor guy had a rough time of it, but now he is home safe and sound. Too bad you don't know who had him, so they could spend some time in jail for stealing him.

After reading this I had a horrible dream that my deaf pup was stolen from me.

I'm overly paranoid with him because if he runs away and doesn't look at me I can't recall him, so if I was to lose sight, he's gone.

I cannot seriously imagine your heartache during the time he was missing.

:smileywelcome: to you, Oliver and Eleanor! Your story has an amazing outcome!
