Hi all,

We got our first frenchie on Sunday after having previously had British Bulldogs. We lost Hudson my 10year old British bulldog a few weeks back. He left a massive gap in our lives. We knew we couldn't replace him so we decided it would be best to have a change. Low and behold we got our frenchie!!

Dexter is 10wks old, he is just the cutest!

Morning all,

Hope your all having a lovely day.

A little about me/us. We live in Derbyshire, Uk. There is Me (Sarah), hubby, our 3yr daughter Mya and now the addition of Dexter.

Hudson passed 3 weeks ago. He was a good age for a British bulldog and had a fantastic life. Although I do feel we are moving on a little too fast maybe, but Dexter is sure a good influence around the house which hasn't been the same since Hudson passed. We also had Hudson's brother Otto, who passed 2 years ago aged 8.

It's strange going back to the puppy stages, but hopefully we are doing ok. We only got him on Sunday afternoon. We had applied for 2 rescue British Bulldogs but were unsuccessful (I think because of having such a young child)

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful EB Hudson. I know some of that pain slowly can dull with time. Dexter will definitely help with that because owning a Frenchie is quite entertaining. They call them "the clown dogs" for a reason. Welcome to the group!![emoji179]

Sorry to hear about Hudson, he sure reached a respectful age though.

Your new puppy Dexter is so cute! I love his colour and appearance :heart: I'm sure you will have tons of fun with him.
