Help! Frenchie is over Fromms!

Hi there
Our 3 year old Frenchie, Hugo, has been on Fromm's pork and peas or beef frittata for the past several years. He usually was very excited to eat and would wait at his bowl for breakfast and dinner. However, he is very disinterested in the Fromm's now. He will go look at his bowl and walk back to his bed and not eat all day until he is probably starving. Is this typical for them to get tired of their food? I had some samples of freeze dried Honest Kitchen and he went crazy over it. I mixed it with his Fromm's and he ate it all. I definitely want to feed him a high quality food but am not so sure about the cost of Honest Kitchen compared to the Fromm's.
Does anyone have a suggestion of a food to switch him to? He has no allergies or health issues either.

Our girl did the same with Fromm, she was on Game Bird, we switched to Zigniture Kangaroo, she went crazy over it, then got "lazy" and wouldn't eat Til around 4pm. We got a bag of the Fromm Adult (purple bag) and if I don't feed my dogs at the same time she goes and eats both bowls. She is obsessed with it! Our boy can only eat chicken, so it's basically the same as Fromm Chicken a la veg but minus the Veg haha...

Cheli does this at times.... what I found if i move the bowl to a different spot in the kitchen -- he eats. :facepalm:

Also, with fromm, depending on any allergies -- you can swap out flavors betweeen dinner and breakfast -- buy small bags and give a different flavor to see if it helps

Would you get tired of eating the same kind of dry cereal every day?

If you have been feeding only these 2 kinds for years, its definitely time for a switch.

Doesnt Fromm come in other proteins?

Or keep it interesting by mixing some freeze dried or raw meat or even vegetables in with the food.

Our dogs did the same thing. We tried several different brands. The nice thing about fromm is you can switch up the protein. Have you done this ? Try buying smaller bags and a different kind each time. Orrr you could switch to raw diet. We eventually ended up switching and it's night and day difference. They are always waiting to be fed and gobble it up so fast. It's so nice to see after having such picky kibble eaters!
