Hi,I have a 4 month old Fench Bulldog and i have started him on a cooked diet. I am currently feeding him chicken/turkey/mince/beef with a small amount of veg and sweet potatoe with hes omega oils added also, I am unsure as to how much i should be feeding him or if i am giving him all the nutrients he needs and if something else should be added or removed from he's diet

When I have cooked for my pups I would use 25% meat, 25% fresh cooked veggies, and the rest orzo or brown rice. They loved it!

I don't home cook but you may want to research how much calcium they need. I think eggshells are good for that.

When I decided to cook for mine I was hesitand as well because I wanted to make sure they were getting all the proper nutrients. We feed Sojos pre-mix, which is freeze dried and then just add the protein/water. Some other brands are Grandma Lucy's and The Honest Kitchen.

Just made my 5 month old boy Milo, Bison, Chicken, Beef, sweet potato, celery, carrots and two egg meat loaf with coconut oil. First time, hope he likes it.

Dogs need bones and organs. This kind of cooked diet is severely deficient, especially for a growing puppy. Be careful.

What should I add? He eats this with his kibble. Taste of the wild hard food. Do you have any suggestions?
