Hey all!

It's been a long time since I posted on here! I hope everyone and their babies are doing well!

Life has gotten busy, and I lost my password awhile back and forgot to get a new one. My Ella is three now, and is doing wonderfully. I can't believe how fast time goes - I feel like she should still be one and I just got her.:( I've attached some newer photos of her below incase anyone wants to see!).

She has had a bit of a rough year still battling allergies and their related issues - lately I've been doing a lot of reading on yeast issues with dogs and that's what led me back here - everyone on here was always so helpful with information about Frenchies and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or insight on that. Yeast is tough.

On a happier note, Ella has become a bit of an Instagram star. :D I made her an Insta for fun two years ago and it took off! She loves to be in front of a camera and she ended up being a model for a handful of companies. It's so cute. :biglaugh:

Welcome back ... she is a beautiful girl!!

Yeast... what a bugger... stay away for grains, potatoes and be careful on how much fruit you give

Welcome back! Ella is looking good!

What are you currently feeding? As Christine said, stay away from grains, potatoes, and limit fruits. It could also be the protein that she eating. Once you figure out what is causing the yeast, it is much more manageable to treat.

Thank you all so much! She's just the best girl. Those are two of my favorite pictures of her!

2bullymama Cbrugs I currently homecook for her! Its been such a long story with her and this - if you remember she had pretty severe allergies as a pup. The yeast came about, interestingly enough, while she wasn't eating any grains/potatoes/etc! It literally started out of nowhere last spring, under one arm. For her meals, I usually use the website that our vet showed us, BalanceIT, and also go off of the allergy testing she's had done so as to stay away from any potential problem foods, but I'm definitely going to try switching the protein too and see if that helps.

It's so frustrating, especially since the first vets we saw all told me when I said I thought she had a yeast problem that I was wrong and should just leave it alone and hope it goes away. :fie: Now here we are a year later and she's just finishing up a round of ketoconazole that our newer vet gave us.

We see you on IG all the time but welcome back to the forum! Poor thing. She's so lucky to have you cook for her. Allergies are not fun.
