Daisy is in full chew mode. She's hasn't destroyed any toys but she definitely enjoys chewing. I purchased a little variety pack from bestbullysticks.com that included, dried sweet potato slices, duck feet, lamb ears, bully sticks and beef jerky. We also have kongs that we're filling with varieties of baby food and peanut butter and a kong toy that we put dry dog kibble in (i use whatever she doesn't finish for breakfast) and when she turns it the right way, the kibble falls out.

My question is, how many "edible" chewies should she be allowed to have in a day (I'm mainly talking when we're home all day on the weekends)? The sweet potatoes are the only thing she can finish in a sitting, everything else seems to last a few rounds of chewing. She also has access (when she is outside of her crate while we're home) to an elk antler, a deer antler, a water buffalo horn, a cow hoof, a nylabone, and puppy keys.

We like our boys hungry at mealtime so they only have nylabones and hard rubber kongs to chew on, nothing edible after breakfast until dinner. I give them raw veggies while I am fixing dinner!

She sounds spoiled! She literally has everything! Lucky girl. I am not sure how many they should be given I am curious to hear what the others will say

Spoiled is an understatement!!! My husband finally said enough and cut me off from buying her stuff!!! I just don't want her chewing on things she shouldn't so I bought her lots of stuff she should chew on and I probably went a little overboard.

My guys only get antlers and toys to chew during the day.... special treat on Saturday nights is a raw marrow bone. I do give little treats for potty or command lessons, but it is usually kibble, green beans or small pieces of cheese.

Please be VERY careful with bully sticks, they should only be given when you can supervise them while he has it --- they can be a chocking hazard.

What a lucky pup!!! I would give my pups edible chews, like Himalyan chews, once a month but they have nylabones and antlers any time they want. My pups are very powerful chewers and can finish a Himalyan chew quite quickly.

I tend to take away the Himalayan chew after an hour or so as he can also really get through it fast. He has his antler available any time we're with him.

When he got a lot of training treats (at puppy class etc.) I would just feed a bit less at night. No specific amounts, just judging it on what I thought he needed for the rest of the day.

For teething, I didn't really give edible treats. Nylabones, thick rope, toys in the freezer etc.

I havent seen sweet potato chews here - they sound tasty! I must investigate :)
