I am about to change Luna over to adult dog food as her birthday is in a couple days. Lately, I think she has been trying to tell me I am not feeding her enough as she cries in the kitchen next to her bowl. I have been feeding her a half cup 2 times a day so 1 cup total for the day. Is this not enough? How much should I be feeding her now that she is an "adult".

That seems about right... can you post a picture of her? if you want to give a filler... give steamed or frozen green beans

Buster gets 3/4 cup for breakfast and 3/4 cup for dinner. He is half French and half English so he is bigger.

I agree with Cbrugs, check her ribs. I think every Frenchie can be a little different by their age and activity level. My Penelope is 2 years old this month, is above-average active and she gets 1 3/4 cups of food per day and I feed her twice daily. She is 22 pounds and saw the vet today and I was congratulated for her perfect weight. You only know your dog, her behaviors, and her physical appearance. its hard because Frenchies love to eat but if ribs are slightly showing, then if it were my dog, I'd feed her a bit more.

Thanks so much for the responses! I can't see her ribs and she is 24 lbs. I think her weight is right on so I think I will just keep doing what I am doing and just kind of let her tell me what to do. But maybe give heeping scoops ��. Thanks again for the advice!

You can definitely try feeding her a little more. You can judge by poop. If you feed more and her poop starts to get loose, then she is probably eating too much. This is all assuming her poops are normally good.
