I get a lot of..... 'what type of dog is that? ... never seen one that is brindle?' I actually had a VET call Cheli a pug?? Needless to say, that vet has never seen/touched my pups again.

All. The. Time. But if they know a bit about dogs they will think that they are both a Frenchie or a Boston, only once did someone get it right. I do understand they look a lot a like though.

The other day I was taking Jax for a walk and there were some guys working outside down the block and one of them stopped to pet Jax and then said he used to have Pugs. Well then shouldn't he have known that Jax wasn't a Pug? I have also been asked if he was an English Bulldog.

At least twice a day! I had this guy tell me "really? are you sure?" when i told him Nellie was a french bulldog! He was like i could have sworn she's a pug. So annoying!!

I get is that a pug or is it a Boston.... no it's a frenchie ! or wow I've never seen a brindled frenchie before

Not much, but have been asked what kind of dog they are.

Lol. Something is wrong with my notifications on tapatalk! Wish I had seen these sooner! I get that too when I say no it's a French bulldog... People say "I've never seen one that's brindle" lol.

Yah it's annoying, first of all pugs does not have big ears. Just from there you'll know. Lol

Yep we get it too....especially since Jake has similar coloring to a pug. I just educate them about the differences.

I've had someone argue that Isabelle was an English bulldog , then after explaining the differences, confirm to themselves "French Bulldogs are the bigger ones, yeah." Like UGH PLEASE STOP lol.

In Virginia beach everyone knew they were frenchies & pet them & asked us all about them! It was great!

Ok I may have to eat my words here.... Today at the dog park there was a BOSTON TERRIER... I don't care what the owner said....lol but she claimed the dog was a Frenchie. I'm sorry it was a Boston.... I guess it works the other way around too! Haha

I frequently get asked what kind of a dog Buster is, and I understand because he is half English and half French--a blended Bulldog!

It could have been a mix of both as they could end up looking more like one or the other. I believe they are called Frenchtons.
