Just got back from the vet. The tech I dealt with was extremely rude and condescending. He didn't listen when I said he was SENT HOME LIKE THIS and told me there's "medical evidence" that Calvin was licking himself. He also told me I didn't know what I was talking about when I said it didn't look normal because I am not a vet and did not go to college so therefore I'm not educated on this. We have been with him 24/7 keeping an eye on him and he has not licked the incision site. After getting even more frustrated than I already was to begin with, they gave me some kind of cream to apply twice a day for the next 3 days which should reduce swelling. I'm still so upset for my baby. They didn't even bother cleaning all the dried blood off his legs and didn't even acknowledge how swollen he is when sending him home. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm really hoping that the swelling and redness goes down. If not, I'll take him to a different vet.

it did not take long post op for her to develop this reaction and she was bright red in the areas. Best of luck and keep us updated.
I hope you are able to find a new vet for antibiotics! Most Frenchies can't bend to lick so he's clearly making things up. I hate vets like that.
