Very cute ! What brand of dog food you using? My dog loves her Orijen. I ran into some problems when I started putting treats on top of her dog food, and got into this vicious cycle where she wanted more and more treats. I only feed her dog food now in her bowl at meal times.

Orijen
The Honest Kitchen
Diamond Naturals
Stella & Chewys
Taste of the Wild
And a few more that I can't think of right now...
The Fromm alone was a small fortune trying every flavor and being too lazy or embarrassed to return the bags he wouldn't even look at.
He tolerates the Taste of the Wild the best, we are on his first 15lb bag after finishing two 5lb bags.
I HAVE to add a few crushed Stella and Chewys beef meal mixers to it for him to even sniff it LOL.
They do get picky sometimes. Just keep trying different toppings. Feta cheese works well too. Henri was very picky when he was younger, but now he scarfs up his food.
He was liking the feta for a while after you had originally suggested it to me! I am sooooooooooo lucky that he has a very strong stomach, and no sensitivity usually to things...but something about the feta I think began to disagree with him... he threw it up twice, after the second time, I stopped and he was fine. It didn't make him love the food enough for me to withstand the occasional puke hahaha.
We eventually stopped giving them too many options. He will just learn that by not taking it means he is just going to get something better so he will become more and more picky!
I know I'm so guilty! It's the nurturer in me to want to see him eat every meal :-/ I get so nervous when he doesn't eat lol. Being that he is 8 months old now, and mealtime is such a hassle, I've cut him down to two major meals a day with a small snack sized mid day portion of food. Hoping that the longer he goes between meals the hungrier he is and more likely he is to eat.... no luck!
