In Love with French Bulldogs

Hi FBN!! my name is Zoila. I just discovered this forum after looking for sites in adopting a french bulldog puppy or young pup. My fiance and I had dogs before moving to Myrtle Beach, SC. He had two corgis and I had black lab/pit mix (she died in a routine cleaning in the vet's office).

Well we decided that we want to get a French Bulldog. We were set in getting a puppy that we got scammed in buying a puppy that never existed. it just happened this week. I'm still pissed off and heart broken and my fiance, Robert is taking harder than i am. I asked him if he's okay with adopting a frenchie. His two corgis were rescues. Robert agreed to the idea.

So right now, we are looking. I found a frenchie named, Romeo on frenchbulldogvillage.net. He's in Foster Care.

So very sorry to hear you were scammed. It's sad that there are horrible people out there preying on people whose hearts long for a puppy.
I think it's wonderful that you and your hubby are considering to adopt from a rescue. It can be difficult because patience is required and more people find it easier to run out a buy a puppy instead. If you end up still seeking a puppy, be extremely careful and search on here for tips to ensure an excellent breeder, and not a backyard breeder, broker, or puppymill.

Thank you for warm welcome and sympathy. Yesterday we went to an animal shelter.. There were a couple of puppies that we liked but they were not the one.

Welcome! I'm very sorry to hear you got scammed. I hate thieves. Good luck finding a Frenchie! There plenty of rescues that need a good home so I'm sure you'll find the puppy for you.
