Hi all. We switched our dog Sherman to Primal Raw (Duck) Frozen about 3 weeks ago. Everything went well with the transition but he has been regurging a lot more. Pretty much after each meal - and a few times. We then switched him from frozen to freeze-dried...and he's doing a little better but still regurging - just not as foamy. Anyone else experience this? We first started him on lamb but it was too rich for him so we switched to duck. Tried adding a bit of kefir but that seemed to increase the regurgitation... Thoughts?
Thank you!

You could try giving pepcid before meals... sometimes it is from the food not being thawed enough

I noticed Cheli does it if i give too much goats milk

As mentioned, thaw food completely- leave in fridge for at least 24 hr before serving. Other reasons for regurgitating include dog eating too fast, or exercising too soon after eating. My dog regurgitates more on frozen raw than she did on other types, but so far I haven't tried feeding her small portions more frequently because of laziness.

Mine is on Primal frozen duck with raw goat's milk. I feed her at 5 a.m. every morning, then she goes back to bed with me until 6:30. She does not regurgitate at all, but will sometimes just burp if she eats too quickly. I do not allow her to play or exercise at all until she wakes back up at 6:30. I posted in a different thread that she does, on occasion, get the hunger pukes if I am late feeding her in the evening. It would just be the yellow bile. I have solved this issue by giving her a handful of freeze dried nuggets in the afternoon to keep her content until dinner.
