I am new here and I am interested in a French bulldog. I am on a breeder's wait list for a puppy, and I know I want to have insurance. I was wondering if everyone here uses insurance and if so what kind?

I have VPI for Radar and have no complaints. I did the full deal, including wellness because that also pays for heartworm meds and getting him fixed.

There are several peeps here that use it, but we never have and we have 5 Frenchies and several English.

I have Healthy Paws and I know a few others here do too. I've never had a problem with it and it's very reasonable.

When picking it out it is important that you figure out what is valuable to you. For us, we didn't want a plan that covered neutering because we want the freedom to take him wherever we want and not have a company giving us guidelines or deadlines or anything. Our plan covers illness and injury, basically.

I have VPI and have had no issues. I have the major medical plan and a wellness plan.
