It’s official she’s coming home !

Hey everyone,

I’ve met with the breeder of my future Frenchie and she’s just the best. Compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and most importantly passionate! On the 30th of December I’m going to choose my future Frenchie [emoji3064][emoji322]

To all you owners, is there anything special I should look out for ? They’re all so cute and squishy, I won’t be able to choose one haha [emoji38]

Congrats!!! Do you know if you’ll be getting a boy or girl? Any other pets at home? How old will they be when you pick?

As Christine said, look at temperament. They’ll still be young but you’ll be able to see some personality. And there is a very good chance the puppy will pick you. I’m getting another English bulldog puppy in a couple weeks, a girl, and I’ve been visiting with them. I had my heart set on a particular one and then last week the other girl crawled into my lap and fell asleep. Then yesterday I was over visiting and the same girl kept crying and wanting me to pick her up. So now I’m leaning towards her.

We are adopting a girl, she’ll be 10 weeks old and we already have a guinea pig. She’s a shy one and probably won’t go see the puppy on her own if we let her out. But since she’s nice she won’t bite or scare her off. She’ll just wait for the puppy to come and say hi first.
We will let the puppy pick us, I think it’s the best option. I am getting pictures soon, the wait seems so long haha

Congrats, as others have the pup will choose you. Eyes should be clear and full of wonder. Ears should be up by now and coat clean and shiny. Pup should be playful and friendly, but not too crazy. The others have givin you some good advise, so good luck.
