Chowder is getting close to his 9month birthday. He hasnt picked up marking with his leg up, or being super aggresive. However we took him to the local dog park today and all he wanted to do is mount on a poor female frenchie.

I think its time. I believe chowder has a little more filling out to go, and could be a little wider and bigger. WIll neutering chowder stunt his growth and will he fill out weird?

is 9 months a good age to neuter a frenchie. Please let me know thank you :)

Some people will disagree on the age but I had Jax neutered at 6 months and I don't think he has filled out weird or that his growth has been stunted.

We had Buster neutered at 7 months and he has filled out beautifully!

Jake was neutered at 7 mos. also and he has filled out nicely as well. He was marking and mounting dogs, toys, my leg...it wasn't fun. Once he was neutered it all stopped, except with hs sister over toys.

Cheli was dine at 8 months and he also filled in nicely

Wally was a year old because his head is massive and I wanted him to be strong enough to hold it up. :D 9 months should be fine.

He should have already produced testosterone by now so I think he'll be fine.
