Help! My beautiful 14 week old frenchie is in no way interested in loose leash walking, just chasing leaves and watching cars go by. I have been trying clicker training since that is what our trainer taught us, but it is not working. Any suggestions would be sooooo appreciated! Many thanks!

My almost three year old dog still has trouble with walking on the leash. I'm looking for a good system to train her not to pull and try to jump on everyone.

I use a collar instead of a harness because the harness just helps him pull!

I have the same issue with Wally. I've tried everything and sometimes he'll react properly but most times he can't seem to calm himself down on a walk when he sees dogs, people, squirrels, garbage blowing by, etc. I've learned to live with it as he's a pretty good dog otherwise.

We have the exactly the same problem.
We started taking her out since she was only 9 weeks. Now she is 17 weeks.

I do see some improvements on her walking, but half of the time she just refused to move...
Normally, she needa some gentle drag and she can walk about 10 meters...

She has no problem off leash and follow us... But we are not allowed to off leash dog on the street...
I think you really need to be patient. Just walk her more times a day. Maybe start with off-leash walking.

These little stinkers are very strong and stubborn.... it takes lots and lots of patience and time to get them on the program. Cheli is 4 yrs old and still a work in progress with leash walking :stinkeye:
