Do you leave music or the TV on for your four legged family member/s when leaving them home alone for awhile?
We do. My wife likes to leave "Easy Listening" music on for them.
I'm convinced that they like 60's and 70's better. I do
Used to leave "Animal Planet" on for them, but they quickly tired of it.
Too many reruns. :D
Doesn't seem to matter too much.
We sneak up on them when we come home and they're zonked out!!
Seems like more so with the easy listening.
What say you??
:)

I have. Either classical music or cartoons.

We left for a long weekend and had a pet sitter come in to take care of Gus. She asked me (about four times) to bring down a radio so he could have that playing when nobody was around. I completely forgot, so she just kept on the TV. The whole thing kind of made me laugh because my house is typically VERY quiet most of the day. The only time the TV is really ever on is during the weekend, if my husband is watching sports.

Short answer is no.

We did when they were puppies but we don't bother now. They sleep all day anyway, except for when the mailman comes. :D

I did when they were younger or if there was construction going on around the house, but we do not any longer.

My sister has two GSD and she leaves animal planet on the TV for them
