📰 What's new

Neuter/Spay tomorrow

Hope Aiko is feeling less pain today:( So hard when they are hurting.

That's great news. It's always amazing how quickly they think they are fine! It's trying to convince them to calm down that's the hard part sometimes! And so good you are only 10 mins away now - that must make a huge difference for you!

So we woke up today and something wasn't right with Banksy. There were two hard masses in the middle of his penis? It looked like his testicles had dropped to the middle of his penis . We let him out to pee and now they're gone. I've called the vet and we're waiting for him to call us back as its Sunday and they are only open for emergencies... but anyone know what this is?

The vet just called us back and said "it's just glands... don't worry" and then quickly ended the phone conversation.

..... hah I think were switching vets as that was the worst explanation I've ever heard. Can someone confirm this though?

Wow, a concerned dog owner after a SURGERY on their animal and that's the response? Pretty shady! That stinks!

I've never heard of that, someone may have! I hope so!

I know right!!
Oh well there are lots of vets in Kelowna and some much closer to where we live so maybe it's time to look for another one.

After doing some research it looks like it's his bulbas glandis. Which is normal but we've never noticed before.. and it looked bad with his stitching and bruising from surgery.

I think that's a shocking response! Even if it's something that is common to them, it isn't to you! They should remember it's the first time a lot of people are going through these things and of course will be extremely worried.

I'm not surprised you want to move vets. We wouldn't go to a doctor we don't trust, and it's the same for our hairy babies.

Yup there is actually a vet closer to where we live now that specializes in french bulldogs! And another one that is open 24/7. So we will be checking both out
