Hey guys, my wee Frenchie Flint is now 4 1/2 (almost 19 weeks) old! And poor Flint only has one testicle
Our vet has been advising us about getting him neutered and says she can do it at 6 months, however other Frenchie owners have recommended that we wait until he's over a year due to hormones and growth, or something like that.
I do trust my vet, but what would you guys recommend?

He only has one testicle or one isnt descended? I ask as my male cavalier had a testicle that didnt drop and my Vet recommended neutering him earlier rather than later as it was easier recovery for him. And undecended testicle requires a bit more than a basic Neuter.

Our vet did recommend getting it done if the other one hadn't dropped, but she checked yesterday and both are there now, lol

Jax was neutered at 6 months and is now 3 1/2 and he has grown just fine.

From what our bully vet has told us, and from what I have read, it's always better to wait till after they are one year of age to neuter.

I wanted to wait to neuter Jake, but I couldn't take his mounting behavior all of the time. He was neutered at 7 mos.

Thanks guys :) I think we're going to get him done after Christmas.
