I got a 50mm lens during Amazon's Prime sale so of course I had to bother the dogs with my camera.

Thanks everyone! I had a lot of fun using it, but it took some time to get used to manual focus only.

They are hard to capture. They both hate a camera in their face. Most likely because it happens daily. Lol!

Great photos! I have been wanting a f/1.8 50mm for a while. I wish I had known that Amazon had them included in their sale! I can't believe that I missed it.

It was on sale from $300 to $125, but keep in mind these are Canadian prices so a bit more than what you get in the U.S. Still a good deal I think.

Sounds like a good deal. That's a big discount! The Canon lens I am wanting is about $100 here normally. I am going to grab it sometime before Christmas.

Great Photo's! What brand of camera are you using? I have a Sony A6000 and I have 2 lenses I use. the standard Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens and the Sony E 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 Lens for Sony E-Mount Cameras (Black).

I love the 55-210mm lens. It makes the camera much heavier but what a great ZOOM.

I love the 55-210mm lens. It makes the camera much heavier but what a great ZOOM.

Thanks! I have a beginner DSLR, a Nikon D3200, and this is my 3rd lens for it. I have the standard 18-55mm that came with the camera and last year I bought a 55-200mm zoom lens. It is a pain to carry on a long hike but you can't beat that zoom. I want to get better at nature/wildlife photography. My friends on FB are probably sick of seeing only pics of my dogs. lol!
