New Member/New dog owner

Hello There, I am a new member and a new dog owner with a million questions. I have a 9 month old active cute french bulldog name Henry. I read so many articles about the breed and when i saw the breed in person i just fell in love. I also read that french bulldogs are perfect dogs for small children. So hello to everyone and looking foward to getting some advice and interacting with other french bulldog owners. Hello From me and Henry!

Congratulations! Enjoy your new family member. In my experience, French Bulldogs are great with kids. One of my dogs was born in the same year as my son, so they grew up together. You just need to be on hand to supervise them when they are young (both the dog and the child). Have lots of fun with your Frenchie.

I agree with previous comments about supervising play times with children.


As far as Loki is concerned, he is never aggressive, but is often excited and exuberant when meeting up with people - can be a handful.
