New Owner of a 10 week old terror!

Hello,

I live in the UK and yesterday picked up Louis, my ten week and two day old pied French Bulldog boy. He is an absolute bundle of joy.

It's been twenty years since I've owned a dog (a lab) and thought it was time to have a dog again. I also have an eight year old son and it was love at first sight between him and Louis!

We thought long and hard about what breed to get and the French Bulldog, as well as being absolutely beautiful, seemed like the right match for what we can give and what we would like from our dog (although I appreciate every dog is different).

Anyway, sorry for the rambling introduction! This seems like a great forum and I'm sure I'll be able to have all my questions answered and hopefully, over time, be able to provide advice myself.

I will certainly sort some more pics out of Louis and post them.

Well, it's been a hectic first few days. Who would have guessed something so small could make so much noise!? He doesn't like his crate (but is getting better with it as the days pass) and is being stubborn around house training - but that was expected. Other than that he is settling in well.

Getting a Frenchie is definitely one if the best decisions my family has ever made.
