Our first frenchie!

Hello! Thought I would introduce myself on the forum. I've been a lurker for the last few months and reading such wonderful info on French bulldogs. Louise is nine weeks old and such a sweet girl! She loves cuddles, kisses, and toys. She has a four legged older pug brother and two human sisters. We are so happy to welcome her in to our family.

Go figure, we'd get snow the day we brought her home but she is doing great! She goes to the bathroom better in the snow than our twelve year old pug!

Yes! When Bisou was Louise's age, they looked really similar!

I wish we could have gotten Bisou when she was as little as Louise... such a precious time!

Thanks for the sweet comments! We had Louise's first vet exam today and she did great! Almost 7 1/2 lbs. I have been obsessing over what to feed her. The breeder had her on Costco's grain free brand which I guess is similar to Taste of the Wild Pacific. Was going to switch to Fromm Puppy Gold but was leary of introducing grains. Decided to go with the Merrick grain free puppy formula. Added a small amount to her old food tonight and she ate the most since she has been with us. Hoping it will work for her.

Shortstuff, she does like Bisou!

We got so lucky finding Louise. I was visiting a breeder about a litter of pups that she knows from a friend she shows with in Fl. While I was at her home, I got to know little Louise. She was a show prospect who had been reserved, but turned down at the very last minute, due to her coat changing from what they thought was fawn to more of a sable. I love her coloring and think she is beautiful! Here are a few pictures to see the darker colors in her coat.
