Well, we were supposed to get our new Frenchie this weekend. We've been waiting and waiting and I was so excited. He was supposed to get neutered last Thursday, but the vet pushed it to Monday. While he was under they decided to do his nares and palette. They used the laser method.

As I understand they generally bounce back pretty well and you basically have to beg them to stay quiet and calm but he's having a really hard time. He's having a lot of trouble breathing and is just clearly feeling 100% worse.

He went back to the vet today and got fluids, steroids and antibiotics. We are really worried about him and the breeder is beside herself. We could use some good thoughts sent our way!

Thank you everyone! I just talked to the breeder and she said he's making some efforts to eat and drink today so we are hopeful that he's turning the corner!! Man we don't even have him yet and I'm stressing like a crazy Frenchie mom over him!! Lol. Here's hoping he can be back to running on the beach in no time!

Thank you all!! I just spoke with the breeder and she said he did a bit better today. I'm really hoping he starts getting back to himself tomorrow! We need him to get healthy so he can come home!! Mr Hudson is miserable as an only child!

[MENTION=600]Jakeyjake[/MENTION] thank you for asking! He went back to the vet for another round of fluids and such and it seems to have really done the trick. The swelling is going down and he's breathing great now and acting more like himself!


We are on track to get the little sleeping munchkin next weekend!! I'm so excited.

I know! Which is really odd considering it was done with laser and he didn't have a bad case to start, so he should've bounced right back. He's almost a year and a half old.
