Puppy not eating or drinking

So we just got a 10 week old French puppy. When we brought her home she had some water in her bowl. But today she hasn't eaten or anything. Also she hasn't had any water yet. We are getting worried she is getting weak. We did the neck skin test and it did seem fine. So we opened her mouth and gave her some water with a syringe. We realize losing her brothers and sisters and parents plus a new environment can be overwhelming. But I like to have some input from experienced puppy owners. Thanks

It can be stressful for some puppies when they first come home.
Would she eat treats but not her food or wont she eat in general? Do you have some of the food she was on at the breeder's? You can also try some Chicken Broth.
If she is still not eating/drinking after 24 hrs you might want to get her checked out as puppies can go down hill pretty quick without food and water intake.

She isn't interested in treats. We obtained the same food the breeder was feeding her. We tried chicken broth but she didn't seem to want any. I've called the vet and she said to wait till this evening and to come in if she still isn't eating or drinking.

She probably just has a good case of separation anxiety but I'd take her to the vet for a well puppy thorough check up. You don't want her to get dehydrated.

I agree, it could just nbe nervous, but I hope she eats or drinks tomorrow morning, if not a trip to the vet for sure, pups get dehydrated quickly.

So yesterday I bought some canned food and gave it to her around 4pm. She actually ate it really quickly. It's weird cause she was raised on dry food. Happy to see she is eating tho
