Puppy Throwing Up

So we just got our frenchie Enira a few days ago. She is 10 weeks old. She was sent to us by plane. The next day she started throwing up mostly just yellow liquid, usually after she wakes up from a nap. The breeder sent me the food shes been eating Bil Jac puppy food, and also said shes never done anything like this prior. Also when she throws up she starts to make these noises as if shes choking and shaking, sounds a bit loke reverse sneezing. If i can figure out how ill upload a video of what it sounds like. Id anyone has any suggestions or ideas let me know please!!

Bil Jac puppy food is really bad quality, first thing I'd do is gradually transition her to a better quality puppy food like Fromm Heartland Gold Grain Free Puppy or Orijen Puppy. You may also need smaller more frequent feedings. Some dogs will throw up when they have an empty stomach. Try to titrate amount of food so that stools are somewhat firm, too much food produces loose stools, and too little produces hard stools and constipation. You won't be able to titrate properly until the transition is completed.

Yea i dont mind changing the food, the thing is the breeder said shes been feeding her that food and she didnt have any issues over there.

Sounds like a dry heave. You can try smaller more frequent quantities, elevating bowl on platform and using slow feeding bowl.

Also you can try mixing the dry kibble with a bit of water immediately before feeding and she will probably lap up the water and then eat the kibble.

Fromm is a great choice... i used the grain free Heartland red meat recipe

Ok guys been using Fromm for 2 days now and so far no more throw up! Im so happy my little girl is care free for now lol! Dont know what the stupid breeder was feeding her...that food was drier than ashy elbows!
