He is still a baby and getting used to his new home. Give him time. You don't expect a 3 month old child to learn new things so fast, and it is the same way with pups. He will come around as he grow and matures. Just needs time. This may help too.

Hey,

My puppy is also 10 w old. Had him for about 4 weeks now. He is the same way, very independent. I guess they are a lot more independent than other breeds but this is something i sort of appreciate about them.

I use treats to get his attention, they are really effective.

Yes they have their own world at that age but once hey grow older they'll become stubborn and spoiled!! Haha
