Hey Guys,

I know this topic must have come up before, but i looked through the threads and couldn't find anything on it.

My pup's ears were perfectly erected at 7 weeks old when we got him, however for the past 3/4 days they became a little floppy and have started to curl backwards. Is this something common? I've heard it can happen during teething as the body is consuming more calcium.

Do you have any suggestions? Did this happen to any of you?

I was thinking about supplementing his diet, but wouldn't do so until i get a vet's advice.

Thanks,
Cosmin

Teething.

Happened to my pup. They went back to normal after a couple weeks. :)

I didn't do anything to supplement.

This happened to meeka as well ! It lasted a few weeks and went back to normal. I wouldn't worry about it :)

I'm pretty sure that will correct itself. We had the exact same at about 4 months. It lasted about 2 months then just went back to normal. As mentioned above, it's likely just to be teething. :)

Banksys ear did that when he was a puppy! I never knew why! This is interesting information! But ya no worries his went back to normal

I guess they will recover to full shape eventually. They look kind of funny though :) I already got used to them.

Turbo, that's a cute name :)

I have the same issues with percys ears

This happened to Bambi, but only to one of her ears  I didn't do anything and it went back to normal within a month. That's funny that it is so common, I just thought she was still growing into her ears.
