Hey everyone !!
I have a 2 year old Frenchie girl , Ruby , and she will occasionally howl when we leave the room ( which is normal she hate when people are somewhere she can't be ) but sometimes even when I'm petting her or a relative is petting her and giving her attention she'll start whining until it becomes a full blown howl or doing the Frenchie scream, and it seems she's inconsolable for that 30 secs until she calms down. Sometimes she would do it too after waking up first thing in the morning and I figured it was because she was hungry but sometimes it seems like there's just no reason for it . Has anyone else ever experienced this? I had told my vet about it when she was just over 1 but she didn't seem super
Concerned but i can't seem to find any information to ease my mind.. any info would be great!!
Thanks everyone!

I have not experienced this howling, but it could just be a habit. She probably does it for attention, and even when she is getting attention she wants more. Buster had a neurological exam at WSU Vet Hospital and I asked about his trembling episodes and the Dr. said it was behavioral and a habit. He ended being sent to orthopedics because the problem was his knees, not spine.

:smileywelcome: to you and Ruby!

I hope it's just habit , sucks if it is but I'd prefer that over something neurological! :fie:

Have you asked the vet again about it since she's still doing it?

interesting.... never experienced it. I would do as Alice suggested and have him checked for any health issues
