Hi. My almost 8 month old started getting what we thought was an abrasion at first but I think may be a rash, possibly from food. She was on chicken when we got her but we have had her on lamb, which I think may be causing the issue. The reddish areas are on her back leg/groin area but started today in her armpits too. Sometimes it’s on her belly. They don’t seem to bother her a ton, but I’ll catch her licking from time to time. 6ED771B1-5008-46FB-B68B-5EDDC772FF9E.jpeg4A9FB88C-DB87-4624-9715-1E37D4DC2AC8.jpeg6ED771B1-5008-46FB-B68B-5EDDC772FF9E.jpeg4A9FB88C-DB87-4624-9715-1E37D4DC2AC8.jpegThoughts?

Lamb is considered a hot protein, meaning high chance of allergy.... try duck or turkey protein and see if it clears up

Thank you! I have been having a hard time finding a puppy food with the correct protein. Can you recommend any? The ones I have seen, from the recommended brands on this board, usually are chicken based it seems.

You can use an all life stages kibble. And yes, try duck or turkey. Jax can’t do lamb at all.
