Raw Diet?

So, they gave me another option which will be about what I'm spending on kibble. May have to try that out.

what's that option?

Basically for a month it will be chicken and turkey ingredients and I will have to do all the prep myself.
Different months will change the price because of different ingredients. But I am looking into it.
I'm also looking to see if I can find local organic butchers that may help me save a little more as well.

I know some Frenchies don't do well with chicken. Jax is definitely allergic to turkey as when he was on it, he was CRAZY itchy and broke out in sores all over his legs and belly area. But if yours has had chicken before then there is probably nothing to worry about. It's all trial and error!

Bentley loves chicken. But he's only had cooked chicken. I've also given him chick kibble.
I plan to start raw in about 3 weeks.
From what I've researched Raw Feeding Miami is cheaper than trying to source it myself. Especially since I don't have to pay for shipping either.
I'll let you know how it all goes.

I bought the Stella & Chewys salmon and cod freeze dried meal toppers.

I have been adding one scoop on top of Banksys kibble and HE LOVES ITTTT

They didn't have any other kinds there, which kinda sucks cause his kibble is salmon and sweet potatoes

But I will be looking around for the other kind, a different protein, and will definitely be keeping this a part of his diet!

Hey, cnash, you might want to also check out hare-today.com for pricing. I had an issue with the distributor for my current food and did some googling to find another source for my rabbit. Others had recommended Hare Today before, but their site was a mess and I couldn't figure out what was going on. They have a new site now and their prices are really great. For example, I just picked up an order of 10 lbs. of ground duck from the commercial company and the price was $55.49. The same amount of ground duck from Hare Today is going to run me $34.90. Even with the cost to FedEx the food to me I'm still going to come out ahead by a good $40/mo.

Might not be a good option for you because of shipping, but couldn't hurt to check them out.

Has anyone ever tried Nature's Variety venison and lamb raw bites? I picked some up from PetSmart to add to Banksys kibble!

Excited to try a different protein for him

Stella loves freeze dried chicken on her kibble like mad. We also use chicken heart, lamb and salmon for training.

I will be starting Bentley on Raw food sometime next week (when I run out of kibble). I pick up my order from Raw Feeding Miami this Saturday.
