Hey guys;

So I've got a rotation question for you. So I've been rotating food flavors since I've got the pup to figure out what works/ doesn't work so I've got a decent list foods that work and a list of avoid at all costs. I've been doing the usual finish one bag start on a new (unless some sensitivity arises) but I want to do faster transitions...try to slowly increase transition time so I can feed a different food each day without gestational distress. Is this a unreachable expectation?

I just hate feeding the same thing every day even is it is only for a month or so...she just seems so bored by the end of it. I've got a big freezer so what I'd do it take weeks worth out of each bag and keep that in the fridge for feeding that week and put the rest in the freezer. I also want to add some freeze dried raw into the rotation without breaking the bank - I've tried frozen raw and she either turns her nose or throws up (it was a solid rough 2 months - expensive too because i tried different proteins thinking it was an intolerant) so that's not a route for us...and I'm not one for Homemade. Perhaps at some point but right now in my life that's not something I can devote myself to (although I'm amazed by all you who do)

So commercial diet it is for us (orijin and arcana to be specific; maybe adding stella or primal later)

So. Sorry for the ramble...for a rotational diet do you think it will eventually I can get to the point of rotating daily or should I resign myself to the monthly rotation? Note: any food used will be used exclusively for a while to make sure there's no allergies or sensitivities that accompany it.

You mention freeze dried- I tried Honest Kitchen freeze dried dog food one time after my dog had oral surgery and needed soft food and my dog wouldn't touch it. I ended up just adding water to her regular kibble. I would try to get samples before you try some of these alternatives so as not to break the bank. I haven't heard of rotating foods that frequently although I guess it's ok if you are staying within the same brand, eg. Orijen regional red to Orijen six fish or Orijen Tundra.

Usually if you are using ahigh quality kibble (Acana/Orejin fit that bill).... you can choose a line and then easily switch between flavors for breakfast/dinner.

I do this with Fromm 4 star grain free line. I use mostly pork and peas but at times will switch it up to Game Bird or Bee Fritatta
