Awwww Twiggy! Hope she feels better ASAP! I think Rico will need his nares done eventually. He doesn't have any breathing difficulty yet but he has extremely narrow nares, and the vet thinks it may eventually be a possibility. I'll probably do it at the same time as his neuter if needed. A little doggy nose job! LOL. I'd love to see before/after pics of Twiggys nares. Here's a closeup of Rico's nares. Soooo narrow. His little mushroom nose lol
LOVE that little face!! yes, he most likely will need it and it is a good idea to do it sooner than later as the stress on the rest of the body can be avoided
I completely agree and that's my thought process to avoid cardiopulmonary stress, being proactive and having any potential breathing challenges addressed before they manifest.
We had Lambeau, our Bulldog, done at 16 weeks and now at almost 2 yrs old... he does not even snore
I had just read that when you wrote it in another post, as I now obsessively scour the board for nare topics. Hahahaha. Looking at all the photos people have posted, I am shocked to say Rico has some of the tightest nares of them all! LOL. I want to start a thread "Post your nose job before and after pics" hahaha.

I found a before picture that shows her nares pretty well. I'll try to get a good after one today.
I promise they aren't as tight as my boys! His poor nose is practically closed up! Vet is finally happy with his health so we started discussing surgery options. She's confident he'll be fit from nares and pallet surgery.
