So, I got my Frenchie for about a month now since he was 12 weeks (3 months) and now at 4 Months he has been shedding a lot more. Before his shedding was minimal.

Ever since I got him I've had him on Salmon Oil, Coconut Oil, and been using the Furminator Comb, Bristle Comb, & Rubber Glove.

Its at the 4 month mark, that when I pick him up he seems to be shedding a lot more, will this stop ? what can be causing this? how can I reduce the shedding? it really bothers my nose. And I love cuddling with him.

PLEASE HELP & THANKS

I think shedding is mainly cyclical. Bambi is shedding right now. She was shedding a lot when we first got her in December two years ago. I would continue to brush him every day to help him get rid of his old coat and stimulate circulation. Feed him a good food and I'm sure you will see it lessen.

They 'blow' their coat 2x a year usually around now and then again late spring early summer.

My frenchie is almost six months old and and I have been lucky with minimal shedding. I credit this to his raw diet. His coat stays shiny and very soft. With his meals I also add coconut oil and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.

My props on how you keep his nails!

Probable just blowing his coat as they do this twice a year. Daily brushing does help. We like to use the Kong Zoom Groom, it works great and they seem to like it.

I agree with David Zoom groom is your go to guy!
